My name is Ruby!

Ruby is a smart gal all the way from Mexico. When our work brought us back to the States in Oct, we brought her with us, after rescuing her in June last year to find her a permanent home. She had extensive medical screening to come, & all her records are in Spanish, but she is up to date. She enjoys games, tug of war, & enrichment toys. She is still somewhat young & we are working on refining her training. She is house broken, kennel trained, & knows some basic commands. She has leash basics down but is still learning 'leave it' & to stay focused. She is a Basenji mix (which is known for not being able to bark, but she can) & she is 25 Lbs. She is making progress with house training like staying out of the kitchen when we're cooking & not barking at noises outside the house. She would likely be excellent at sent work &/or fly-ball. She does have a pray drive so confident cats are a maybe. She really loves other dogs & would do best with a friend at home, or frequent play dates.
