I Approximate Date of Birth: 9/8/25 Tahini is a gentle little angel who loves the company of a human willing to spend quality time with her. She plays well with other cats and adores napping for hours on end in her beloved cat hammock. Tahini is currently accepting applications for the role of professional nap supervisor and cuddle companion. She firmly believes hammocks are the peak of luxury living and should be used daily. When she's not snoozing, she enjoys short bursts of play followed by even longer naps. Submit Application

All Applications are completed online. Please allow 24 hours for processing. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply/

2.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, a meet 'n' greet will be scheduled.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet 'n' greet is a match, the contract will be completed and adoption fee will need to be remitted.

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
