Sushi, a pretty gray kitten with bright yellow eyes, prefers to have her ears rubbed when getting pets from her humans. As you can see from her pictures, she's got those ears all ready for her new family to step up to the task. Sushi, born in May 2025, came to us, along with two other cats, as the family just had too many other cats to keep the trio. As she's been with other cats, with the proper introduction, she might get along with other cats. She's also reported to be good with dogs. Come in and meet her soon! Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
