Bunny’s St. Leo University Pups are almost ready to go home! 💛 These seven beautiful babies are officially 7 weeks old and getting ready to head into adoptive homes! 💚
Their mama, Bunny, is a 45-lb foxhound mix, and it’s clear dad was likely a Catahoula or another large breed, so these pups are expected to grow into large dogs. They’ve been raised with love, handled daily, and are already showing off their unique personalities.
🦁 Abbey (girl) – Brown & white, smart and sassy! Abbey is confident, curious, and loves to be involved in everything. She’s vocal, expressive, and full of personality—perfect for someone who wants an interactive, intelligent dog.
📌 Important Adoption Info:
• Puppies will go home under a foster-to-adopt contract
• Spay/neuter will be scheduled, with adoption finalized after surgery
• If you’re not near Tampa or Sarasota, you may need to return for the procedure
• Puppies have age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, and microchips
• $400 adoption fee (due when adoption is finalized) 📍 Currently in Dade City, FL (north of Tampa)

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.
Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
