My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colter is a little over a year and a half old and has a very sweet, sensitive personality. He bonds deeply once he feels safe, but he can be uneasy around men based on my experience and needs slow, patient introductions. Colter does need continued training and confidence-building, and he is currently learning how to appropriately play with other dogs.

He has a sensitive stomach and has only done well on fish-based food (currently Farmer’s Dog Digestive Health). Colter would do best in a calm, structured home without cats, as he doesn’t do well with them, and unfortunately he hasn’t been a good match with my senior dog.

This decision is incredibly hard because I would love to keep him, but I want what’s best for Colter and believe he deserves a home that can fully support his needs and help him thrive.
