Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you’re looking for a tall, dark, and handsome stud to steal your heart, meet Dakota.
About Dakota
Dakota can definitely be described as a gentle giant. When he’s not running around outside and sniffing every inch of the earth he knows, he’s a big softie who loves to snuggle in his favorite human’s lap. He enjoys (and is very good) playing fetch, indoors or outdoors. After getting all his energy out, he really is just a relaxed, polite pup.
Personality & Traits
~Energy Level: High
~Great with: Active family; Adults
~Loves: Squeaky plush toys, beef liver treats, and car rides.
~Good to Know: Dakota does best with a secure harness, so we highly recommend having one ready to go at the time of adoption.
Best Home For Me
Dakota would thrive with an active family in a home that allows him the space and activities to release some energy. He would love to join you on your next walk or run, be by your side while you clean at home (maybe tossing him a toy plushie from time to time) and admire you giving him head scratches before bedtime.
Perks & Compatibility
~House-trained
~No other dogs in home or multiple meet and greets before going home
~No history with children or cats
Why I’m Special
Dynamic and tenderhearted, Dakota is looking for his second chance to find a family who will love him for who he is and watch him prosper. If you’re willing to open your heart and home for a spirited pup, Dakota is ready to meet you at our Everyday Adoption Center located inside PetSmart (Northpointe PetSmart, 9950 N Newport Hwy).
