Meet Duke
Duke is a loving and resilient dog who joined our family about five years ago after being adopted from PetSmart through the High Desert Rescue. He was approximately five to six months old at the time and had just recovered from parvovirus. Despite a tough start in life, Duke has grown into an affectionate, loyal, and gentle companion.
Duke has been an incredible part of our family and has provided comfort and emotional support, especially to our eldest daughter. He is well cared for, enjoys being around his people, and thrives on companionship and routine.
Over time, Duke has developed anxiety related to loud noises such as fireworks, which are common in our current neighborhood. Because of this, we believe he would do best in a quieter environment where he can feel safe and relaxed. After much thought and love, we have made the difficult decision to look for a home that can better meet his emotional needs.
Our goal is to find Duke a calm, loving home where he can continue to
