Zander - Male DOB 6/5/2024 Domestic Short Hair - Brown & White Tabby
Zander is a calm, good-natured cat hoping to finally land in a place where he feels at home. He loves being petted and will often roll onto his back and expose his belly for rubs as well. He is pretty chill most of the time, but once you bring out a feather wand toy he perks up and loves to play. He does fine with other cats, and if you have a young playful cat, he will have fun playing with them. He would also be fine going home by himself having a sunny window perch to look out at the birds and critters. He would not do well with a dominant male where he would be afraid of conflict.
One of his back feet is a bit different—an old swollen toe left it slightly deformed—but it doesn’t bother him, and our vet says he’s healthy. He gets around well for everyday exploring and playing, though he isn’t the best at big jumps. A cat tree with lower, easy-to-reach levels would be perfect so he can still perch by a window and watch the world go by.
Zander would be happiest in a predictable home without dogs or young kids, where he can relax and enjoy all the affection he deserves. He’s the kind of cat who fits right in with a peaceful household and will gladly share lots of cozy moments with you and any cat friends.
