Introducing our little senior Shih Tzu Jack! This senior doggo came to DASH from a rural shelter in northern KY after he was found as a stray. He is blind, and can you imagine wandering outside in the winter and not being able to see anything! This guy is so sweet and so gentle, all he wants is a soft bed and blanket or a lap to hang out in, good food and he is content. We recommend a fenced in yard just so he can have a safe place to go out and potty and just hang out in the warmer weather if he wants. He would be ok with older respectful kids, and he gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home. He has not been cat tested, but feel he would be fine with them as long as they give him his space. His ideal home would have minimal steps as he can navigate one or two steps, but more than that would be too much. He is really just ready to find his forever person to spend his golden years with being spoiled rotten.
