My name is Ghost!

Ghost is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix (turning 7 on March 26th), about 80 lbs. We’ve had him since he was 3 months old and are heartbreakingly rehoming him due to changes in our living and financial situation. He was the runt of the litter and has grown into a loyal, protective, and loving companion. Ghost thrives with a large yard and cooler weather but is also a spoiled indoor dog. He is loyal and protective, only barking when someone is near the home. He’s been around children his whole life and has never bitten anyone, but does best when new people let him approach at his own pace.
He is not dog-friendly and should be the only dog in the home. He has lived with a house cat but has not accepted new cats. Ghost knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake both paws) sheds a lot, and is a picky eater but eats dry food well. He needs a patient, loving home where he can be someone’s devoted companion.
