Birthdate: 9/23/2025
Breed: One of a kind
There's just something about this perfect little woodland creature that leaves us breathless. Feathered and fluffed like a little bird, her soft tabby coat has beautiful blazes of coral and rose. Named MIEP by her rescuer to honor a righteous soul who safeguarded Anne Frank and her family during WWII, her eyes are proud and sincere and her gaze is purposeful. She's adorably chatty and Miep actually does "meep"! But it's when she comes into your arms, purring steadily, that you feel a real sense of serenity and comfort. We love when she prods us with a paw, hoping for some quality time and we've actually had legit conversations in cat-speak. Found in a schoolyard, this little girl feels like an old soul who knows all about life and love.
The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36923/generic
If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
