Meet Scarlett O’Hara, she is an 18 month old puppy mill survivor. She is calm, sweet and loves to be near her person. She enjoys a calm home free of chaos. She gets along well with respectful dogs. Scarlett walks on a leash , but requires a fenced in yard. She is a proper lady who prefers privacy to do her business. Scarlett is doing great with potty training and has not had any accidents in her foster home.
Scarlett is not a dog that needs to be fixed, she is a dog that needs time to adjust to a new world. Confinement is no longer in her vocabulary. She is not a dog that tolerates a crate. After spending too much time in one, crates are a source of anxiety, not comfort. Scarlett prefers a well furnished room to enjoy naps in your absence. Her bed time preference is your bed.

First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.
Home Check
This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.
Approve Application
Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.
Meet the Pet
Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.
