Wintry Mix: Kori

Kori is truly a dream puppy and we cannot believe she hasn’t received a single application yet!

This beautiful Pyrenees mix has already mastered all the important puppy skills. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and walks wonderfully on a leash. She loves her puppy friends and does great with kids. While she hasn’t met a cat yet, her gentle, easygoing temperament suggests she would likely do just fine.

Kori enjoys being close to her people but isn’t a Velcro dog. She’s happy to relax nearby, play with her dog-approved toys, and best of all she doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t. She’s the perfect balance of affectionate and independent.

She’s expected to grow into a stunning 70–80 pound Great Pyrenees mix, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving best friend.

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
