Tiramisu is a beautiful siamese 4 year old cat that we rescued from a abuse/neglectful situation with her previous owners husband. She has been with us for almost 8 months and does NOT get along with our cat at all! She needs someone with time and patience to bring her out of her shell completely. She reacts with hissing or swatting if backed into a corner or raised voices or hands forced in her face. We think this is because of her previous owner situation unfortunately she has grown to protect herself against the smallest things. We recommend her as the only cat in the home with no other animals or children. Somewhere she can finally feel calm and at peace.
Tiramisu does like to cuddle in bed sometimes or follow you around. We have tried calming collars, pheromones, anxiety meds, nothing has worked for us. We don’t want to give her up but we also don’t want her to be unhappy or end up in a shelter. We love her and want whats best for her. We will do vet references and verifying.
