My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gabe, a loving and spirited dog who is ready to find his forever home! Gabe thrives on human companionship and adores being around people, making him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a loyal and affectionate friend. While Gabe is the sweetest boy, he would prefer to be the only dog in the household. He is although dog social, non-reactive and likes to go for walks and on outings to dog friendly places.
Gabe is currently being fostered by a trainer where he is undergoing professional obedience training to help him become the best version of himself. He is housebroken, crate trained, great on a leash, and is very well mannered.
Four lessons will be completed with his adopter along with lifetime support from his trainer.

If you’re looking for a loving dog who will shower you with affection and is eager to continue learning along with you, Gabe is the one!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Applications are reviewed by volunteers who also do background and reference checks. NOTE: We only accept local applications.

2.

Interview

After applicants pass the application review and checks, we set up a phone screening to go over any questions and to request a home video.

3.

Approve Application

Approved applicants do a "sleepover" with the dog before finalizing adoption. This is up to a week or so.

Additional adoption info

Local adoptions only! (Northeast Florida)

If you are considering adoption but are not 100% sure about the lifetime commitment, please consider fostering!
Fostering allows us to pull dogs from shelters, is at no cost to you, and you get to help save lives. If you decide the furbaby is a good fit for you and your family, you can move forward with the adoption process.

We are at Brewhound Dog Park in Neptune Beach every Friday 6-8pm. We do not have a facility to visit, as all our pups are in foster homes. Follow us on social media to see other upcoming events and opportunities to meet adoptable dogs!
