Blossom is a special girl who deserves a special home. We are looking for someone to adopt Blossom who will give her time to settle into her new environment. Due to her previously being a feral dog when she was pulled from the shelter, she is still shy around new people, new places, and is working on basic obedience training.
Blossom has been in foster for several months learning how to be a dog living in a home. She is crate trained and house broken. She loves other dogs and will need another confident dog in the home to show her what it's like to be a dog.
Blossom needs someone who will be patient with her and provide her with the time and space to come into her own to experience all the world has to offer. Once she is comfortable with you, she really enjoys getting pets and belly rubs. She is becoming such a great dog and is learning quickly that it's great to be a part of all the things in the home.

Applications are reviewed by volunteers who also do background and reference checks. NOTE: We only accept local applications.

Interview
After applicants pass the application review and checks, we set up a phone screening to go over any questions and to request a home video.

Approve Application
Approved applicants do a "sleepover" with the dog before finalizing adoption. This is up to a week or so.
