Named after the Queen of the Fairies, Titania carries herself with a quiet confidence and gentle charm that makes it easy to see how she earned such a regal name.
She tested positive for FIV, but she is otherwise very healthy and expected to live a long, happy life. FIV is often misunderstood. It is not an immediate death sentence and is primarily spread through deep bite wounds. Cats with FIV can live peacefully alongside non-FIV cats as long as everyone gets along, and Titania has shown us just that. She does wonderfully with the other cats in our cat room.
Titania is friendly, curious, and an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys companionship but also appreciates a calm environment where she can fully relax. Because young children tend to overwhelm her, Titania would do best in a home without them. Older, laidback children that respect her space and need for quiet retreat would be fine. When things get too busy, she prefers to quietly retreat and observe from a safe, cozy spot.
For someone looking for a gentle, loving companion with a soft spirit, Titania is the kind of cat who will weave herself into your daily life in the most comforting way. She’s ready for a peaceful home where her royal heart can truly settle in.
Her adoption fee is $75 and this includes her spay, vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, and a microchip that we register for you. To apply visit EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
