Aleeza came into our care through no fault of her own, when her owner could no longer care for her.

Aleeza is an easy-going girl that loves to be loved. She adapts well to almost any situation. She brings a gentle yet consistent kind of joy and companionship to all around her.

Aleeza loves being pet & snuggling up with her humans and kitty friends alike. She loves to romp around and wrestle and play with her kitty foster siblings. She does well with her doggie foster brother - they may not play or snuggle but they co-exist very well. Aleeza also does very well with children!

Aleeza would fit well into almost any household that will care for her & make sure her needs are met. We do think she would prefer a home with another kitty, as she is used to (and LOVES!) that type of companionship.

Peace Love and Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals. Peace Love and Paws Rescue is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.

This questionnaire is designed to help Peace Love and Paws Rescue determine if a specific dog is the right match for you and your household. All adopting and fostering parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Peace Love and Paws Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption or fostering based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions and placing foster homes!

More about this rescue

We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.

We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
