Sweet little Margie is the smallest of her litter and the last to be available for adoption. Her beautiful dilute tortoiseshell coat is so unique yet subtle. This gal is a talker, and she can even sound like a tiny dinosaur when she gets impatient for squeeze up treats or wet food, which she LOVES. She carries toys around and could easily learn to fetch, especially with her favorite yellow fuzzy mouse that rattles. She also loves to snuggle, particularly when she finally runs down and gets sleepy. She has so much love and personality to share with you!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Cats (6 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all cats, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.
SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Kittens (under 6 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.

We do adoptions through online listings on websites such as this one, as well as most Saturdays from 11am to 5pm at the PetSmart in Lexington at Hamburg-Pavilion! We also do adoptions at the SCHS Center in Georgetown in the Indian Acres Shopping Center.

At the center we provide information about our spay/neuter and education programs, volunteering opportunities, and spay/neuter vouchers to qualifying residents.
The center also houses some foster kitties through the year.
Our hours are: Monday through Friday, 12pm to 5:30pm
We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. However, adoptions are often done on the weekend and evenings by appointment (with an approved application)
