My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌙 Meet Luna — Sassy, Chatty, and Fully Committed to Indoor Life!

Hi, my name is Luna! I was living outside for a while, but I quickly decided that the outdoor life simply wasn’t for me. So, like the smart girl I am, I marched right up to a nice lady’s screen door and announced that I’d be moving in.

I was greeted by a giant fluffy dog (which was… honestly a little terrifying at first 😳), but that didn’t stop me. A girl knows what she wants — and what I want is a cozy indoor life!

Now I’m living my best foster life, and I’ve learned I’m quite good at being an indoor queen. I spend my days:
🐾 bossing the humans around (someone has to!)
🐦 bird-watching from my favorite window seat
🎾 playing with these magical things called toys that my foster mom keeps buying me

I’m a sassy, independent little lady, and I’m also super chatty — I love sharing my thoughts and opinions with my people. If you’re looking for a cat with personality, confidence, and a whole lot of charm, I’m your girl!

I’m ready for my forever home where I can continue living the indoor dream… and maybe train my new humans to follow my schedule, too. 😉

💛 Come meet Luna — your future tiny boss with a big heart!

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
