My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Bennie — The Energetic, Sweet Protector!

Bennie is an absolute bundle of joy with tons of kitten energy and a personality that shines brighter every day. He’s Clyde’s brother, and while they don’t have to be adopted together, they’d make the most adorable duo if they did — and if they aren’t adopted as a pair, Bennie would still thrive in a home with another friendly cat to wrestle, chase, and play with.

At first, Bennie can be a little hesitant… but honestly, it’s only because he has important kitten business to attend to (aka nonstop playing 😹). Once you scoop him up and give him a little love, he totally melts — and you’ll know it because his purr goes into overdrive. He even enjoys belly rubs and will reward you with louder and louder purrs the more affection he gets.

One of the sweetest things about Bennie is how protective he is of Clyde. When he senses his brother feeling nervous, Bennie steps in like a tiny, brave little guardian — it’s truly the cutest thing.

And if there’s a resident cat around? Ohhh you will see Bennie light up. When the resident kitty comes in for a playdate, it basically makes Bennie’s whole week — he burns off his energy, plays his heart out, and is one happy boy.

If you’re looking for a kitten who is playful, loving, and full of heart, Bennie is your guy. 💛🐾

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
