What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Betty is 1 year and 5 month old, and she’s full grown at 15 pounds. She’s a funny, playful, sassy, and loving little dog who will keep you smiling.
Betty loves to play fetch and enjoys spending time with other dogs — she’s been going to doggy daycare every week since she was 3 months old, so she’s very well socialized.
She is mostly potty trained: she knows to go outside, but she still needs some consistency and patience to fully learn to hold it indoors. Betty is kennel trained — she sleeps in her kennel at night and stays in it while I’m not home. She does very well in her kennel, rarely whines, and never has accidents in it.
Betty would do best in a home with someone who has the patience to finish her potty training and the time to give her the love and attention she deserves. A fenced yard would be wonderful (though not required), and she needs a family who won’t leave her alone for more than 8–9 hours a day.
