My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Frosty ❄️🤍

Frosty is a sweet little soul who we believe is about 7 years old, and he’s been through more than his fair share in life. While we don’t know his full story, it’s clear that someone in Frosty’s past may not have been very kind to him. He was noted to have some “behavior concerns,” but since coming into our rescue, we have seen none of that — only a quiet, gentle boy who wants to feel safe and loved.

Frosty is shy at first, but don’t let that fool you. Give him a little time, a soft voice, and a warm lap, and he blossoms. Once he trusts you, he becomes a total lapdog, happiest curled up close, soaking in cuddles and affection. He truly lives for gentle love and reassurance.

He does great with other dogs and tends to peacefully keep to himself. Frosty would do best in a calm, adult home or a home without small children, where he can feel secure and relaxed.

This sweet boy doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and someone willing to give him the chance he deserves. In return, Frosty will give you quiet companionship, unwavering devotion, and the kind of love that only a rescued heart can offer.

✨ Is there someone out there willing to give Frosty his happily ever after? ✨

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
