My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Moose

Moose is a beautiful long-haired orange boy with a shy heart and a gentle soul. He came from a hoarding situation with 15 other cats, and as a result, the world still feels a little overwhelming to him. Moose is very scared right now, but beneath that fear is a sweet cat with real potential to become a loving companion in the right home.

Moose can be gently petted, but he tends to shy away from more intense affection. He needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly and that progress may come in small steps. With time, consistency, and kindness, Moose has the ability to blossom and show more of his true personality.

He would do best in a quiet, predictable environment with someone who can offer him space when he needs it and reassurance when he’s ready. A calm home where expectations are gentle and love is unconditional will allow Moose to feel safe and begin to heal.

Moose is patiently waiting for his forever home—one where he can move at his own pace and, in time, learn what it means to feel secure and loved. Could you be the special person willing to give Moose the patience and compassion he deserves?
