What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We have two male Newfoundland littermates, Buck and Boyd, who are 14 months old. Unfortunately, they have developed littermate syndrome, and while each dog gets along with our other dog, they do not get along with each other. For both dogs to thrive, they need to live separately, this has been a very difficult decision made out of love and a desire for their long-term success.
Both boys are affectionate, active, and adventurous and they love hiking, swimming, playing ball, and tug. They are purebred Newfoundlands and can be AKC registered; we have all the paperwork. We are open to rehoming either dog. Boyd does have elbow disease, which is currently well managed with PRP injections every six months, hill walking, and stretching exercises.
Our priority is finding the right home where each dog can live confidently and happily on his own.
