If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mikey is a healthy, active nearly 2-year old guy free to a good home. He is very social and energetic! He has a high play drive and would do well in a home with other animals who want to engage with him. He is a very confident guy and not easily spooked (he's not even afraid of the vacuum!). He's also not super vocal, but he will purr up a storm if he gets to sit by you on the couch when he's feeling cuddly.
Full disclosure: Mikey can get mischievous if he isn't getting his energy out playing. He will also benefit from a home with an owner and/or other animals with firm boundaries; he's still young and needs a little direction. He is not destructive or aggressive by any means, but he will find interesting ways to keep himself entertained if you don't.
We ended up with Mikey when his owner moved out of country as we love this guy. But unfortunately Michael is not a good long term fit for us due to our older, low-energy pets & busy schedules.
