My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

.
Background: GHRS was contacted by someone on Facebook saying that there were 8 rabbits that have lived outside in a neighborhood for a year. One of the females named Karina gave birth the night of being rescued to ten babies.

Personality: He is a sweetheart who sleeps most of the time and is totally content just watching things from a comfy spot.

(From his foster family) Cherry Garcia is a shy little bun. But with a few weeks of quality floor time with him, this sweetheart quickly shows his loving and playful personality. Cherry Garcia loves to groom and lick his humans and stuffed animals. He sleeps through the afternoon and is most active from 10am-noon and 10pm-midnight, when he'll do many zoomies and binkies separated by short rests and snacks. He has excellent litter box habits too!

More about this rescue

The Georgia House Rabbit Society (GHRS) is a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of domestic rabbits in need. Founded in 1996, the GHRS started as a network of foster homes and through its successes, has evolved into a stand-alone rabbit shelter in Marietta, Georgia. It is the only shelter in Georgia dedicated exclusively for rabbits, and there are only a few like it in the country. The Center also serves as a boarding facility, a learning center and source of quality rabbit supplies. For more information visit www.houserabbitga.com
