Hi, I’m Mochi.
For a long time, I was on my own and very scared, surviving however I could—even eating trash. Life was hard, and I ended up needing surgery to repair a large hernia. Thanks to some very kind humans, I’m healing well and getting stronger every single day.
Because of my past, I don’t feel comfortable around other cats and would really like to be the only cat in my home. Dogs would likely be too much for me, too. I still need a bit more time to recover before I can go home, but I can be pre-adopted by the right person who understands patience and healing. We’re not sure what my future holds just yet, but I’m trying my best—and I’m hopeful that my forever home is out there waiting for me.
Where did I come from? I was found by a kind stranger in a parking lot, trying to survive by eating trash, with a big hernia on my belly. When the rescue saw me, they knew they had to help. I got the surgery I needed, and now I’m safe, healing, and starting my recovery journey.
