My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kelpie, the stunning DSH black and white cat! At just 7 months old, this beautiful feline came to us with a shy disposition and had considerable difficulty with socialization. Since the beginning of 2025, she has been living in the comforting environment of foster care, where she has had the opportunity to grow and develop her personality in a nurturing setting.

Kelpie has fully blossomed into a pampered indoor cat, transforming from a timid kitten into a confident and affectionate companion. She thrives in cozy, warm settings that allow her to feel safe and secure. Her dramatic flair is evident in her striking black-and-white coat, which contrasts beautifully with her mesmerizing yellow eyes, which seem to capture the essence of her vibrant spirit. Her sweet, affectionate nature makes her an ideal candidate for a family that already has other cats or even dogs, as she has shown a remarkable ability to adapt and bond with her fellow furry friends.

Once Kelpie feels like she's the queen of her castle, her true personality shines brightly. You’ll often find her sitting regally atop the cat tree, surveying her domain with an air of majesty. However, don't be deceived by her regal demeanour; she has a playful side that emerges when she senses a loving hand reaching out for some good old pets and snuggles. And when it’s time for food or treats, her purrs could light up a small city, resonating with a joyful melody that reflects her excitement and contentment.

Kelpie is seeking a loving home where she can be the center of attention, surrounded by individuals who appreciate her unique personality and charm. She promises to bring joy, laughter, and a touch of playful mischief to a family that understands her quirks and showers her with love and affection. Her playful antics and affectionate behaviour will undoubtedly create countless cherished memories for her new family.

If you're ready to welcome this charming furball into your life and provide her with the loving home she deserves, please complete an online adoption application and contact us. The love you give to Kelpie will be returned tenfold, with plenty of purrs, gentle headbutts, and whisker kisses that will warm your heart and brighten your days.
