Marinette is a confident, independent gal who loves to explore the world at her own pace and do things her way. She’s absolutely gorgeous—and yes, she knows it. While she may take a little time to warm up, once trust is earned she truly enjoys chin scratches and ear rubs from her chosen people.

She gets along well with other cats and would do best in a home with older children who understand and respect her boundaries. Marinette is happiest when she has a space of her own—perfect for observing her surroundings (and maybe judging just a little).

Kittens under 4 months -- $100 for one, $150 for two
Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
