Katniss, born approximately 11/3/2024, is beautiful little princess with perfect Tuxedo markings, an adorable pink nose to match her dainty, baby-pink toe beans, and a charming goatee. She has a terribly cute "surprised" expression with her bright, yellow eyes, and alert stare, but it only adds to her cartoonish adorability. This little lady loves to be snuggled and becomes quite the affectionate angel when she warms up to you. She adores her sister and bestie, Prim, and would love to be adopted with her, or into a family with other sweet, nurturing, kitty friends. Katniss came from a large colony of outdoor cats but was tee-tiny when brought in for TNR. She has learned to trust and love her foster mom and dogs-instantly revving up her purr the moment she receives pets. She can still be on high alert when it comes to new people/environment or sudden movements and sounds, but with lots of cuddles and gentle, loving encouragement, Katniss will continue to blossom into a well-rounded, confident, lady.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
