History: Maggie is a super beautiful gal who was recently locally surrendered to rescue and is settling into her foster home. She is sweet as pie and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky home of her very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m a 2-year-old, 30 lb doodle with a heart of gold. My foster parents often call me Yuki, which means “snow” in Japanese, because I am just as unique and beautiful as a snowflake.
My foster family says I have the prettiest eyes you’ve ever seen—they say they look just like a little solar system! While my eyes might be out of this world, I am a very down-to-earth, easy-going girl. I am already fully potty trained and haven't had a single mistake in the house.
I can be a little nervous and shy when I first meet new people, but I absolutely love to be pet and showered with kisses. My foster parents describe me as incredibly gentle and sweet, and I get along great with other dogs, too. I’m the kind of girl who just wants to be your calm, loving companion. I am a really great leash walker too.
I am still working on my crate training and my confidence when being left alone. I’m not a big fan of the crate yet and can experience some separation anxiety, but my foster parents are helping me work on it.
Because I have fur that is more like a Poodle, I’ll need a family who is ready to keep me looking my best. My coat can get matted easily, so I will need regular brushing at home and trips to the groomer to keep me fluffy and comfortable!
I am a mellow, quiet soul who is so ready to find a forever home where I can blossom and share all the love I have to give. Could I be the star of your world?
