History: Lizzie is a stunning medium size girl who found herself in a really sad situation down south and needed her front right leg amputated because of it. It has sense healed and she is now thriving in foster care at Coco’s Heart as she waits patiently to find her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Lizzie the tripod terrier mix is the ultimate cuddle bug! At 18 months, she is still very much a puppy who loves to play, loves to explore the world with her mouth, loves to chew, and loves to be wherever you are. She also can’t hold her licker!…she wants to lick everything and everyone!
She is pretty much completely house trained, but sometimes just can’t handle how exciting it is when you come home! Her tail is constantly on the go when she knows you’re talking to her! Attention is the best! Cuddles are the best! Petting is the best!
She has been sleeping on her foster parents’ bed every night without issue. She is a freeze baby and loves to be curled up deep in the blankets, or even under them. :) She even will curl up with the resident cats.
Lizzie loves playing with the 2 bigger dogs in the home. Chasing them around and being chased is a fun game! Keep away is another fun game…stealing their chewy toys and running away with them is exciting! She loves food…all food…all treats…all people food. Training will be a breeze with how motivated she is! Squeaky and crinkly toys are fun to explode all over the living room. A personal challenge to see how fast she can tear them apart!
She is so soft and sweet and cuddly and trusting! Lizzie has been the best foster dog and will make the best family girl!
