Meet Waffles! This adorable little guy was found dumped in a box behind an IHOP on Hawaii. He's hoping to find a home in Orange County that will cherish him for his whole life!
Waffles is 13 weeks old, current on his vaccines, and neutered.
This cutie is a total love bug who truly enjoys being held and snuggled close. He’s happiest curled up with his people, gazing up at you and nestling in for cuddles, but he also loves to play and have fun like any happy puppy.
Waffles is a great listener who already knows his name and understands simple commands like “no” and “stop,” showing just how smart he is. He’s on a great routine, sleeps through the night, and is doing wonderfully with puppy pad training. Like most puppies, he would thrive in a home that can continue his training!
If you’re looking for a playful puppy with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle game, Waffles is your perfect snuggle buddy.

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.
We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.
Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
