My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coal is a sensitive and thoughtful boy who takes a little time to feel comfortable in new situations. He may start off shy and prefer to observe from a cozy hiding spot, but this is simply his way of getting his bearings and feeling safe.

Once Coal is gently picked up or settled into a calm space, his purr motor turns on almost instantly, revealing just how much he longs for comfort and connection. Beneath his initial nerves is a sweet, trusting heart that is trying to be brave and would flourish with patience, consistency, and kindness.

Coal would do best in a quieter home with older children and as a solo cat, where he can build confidence at his own pace and form a deep bond with his person. With time and love, Coal can be a devoted and affectionate companion for someone willing to give him the chance he deserves.
