Archie is a fun and active, five-year-old, 19-pound, male Boston Terrier looking for a loving guardian.
Archie is currently living with a senior dog, a cat and a five-year-old child.
He is good on leash but can be reactive to other dogs. He’s good in the car, crate-trained and snuggly. The funniest thing about walking with Archie is that he does a handstand and hikes his back legs so high to pee!
He is a foodie; he’s always on the lookout for a snack and sometimes gets in trouble for chewing things that are not edible. So, he needs someone who is home more often than not. He is a Velcro dog who bonds closely to his human.
Sadly, in his busy current home, he ends up in his crate more often than not. He’s looking for someone with the time to continue his training and walk him at least four times a day.
Archie is healthy, neutered vaccinated for rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and bordetella, heartworm and fecal tested negative, on monthly heartworm preventative, and micro-chipped. He even had full wellness exam including bloodwork and urinalysis. Archie’s adoption fee of $250 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue.
