My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued Marley 3 Christmases ago when she was about 10 weeks old (birthday is 10/20/22). She was skin and bones and we found out 2 days later that she had parvo and would likely not make it. We did everything we could to get her through it and our Christmas miracle was granted when 4 days later she started eating and drinking!

Our family situation changed unexpectedly and for that reason we sadly need to rehome her but because we love her so much, we want to make sure she goes to someone who will treat her like a family member with lots of love and attention.

Marley is really a wonderful dog. She loves to go for a walk, sunbathe and swim. Not into playing fetch much. She will go and get it twice and then look at the ball for you to go get it.

We aren't sure if it's from the neglect of her first few weeks of life or parvo, but she does have some joint issues. We give her daily vitamins to help but for that reason she doesn't run much or is able to jump up on things.
