Here there, everyone! I’m Avery, a sweet, gentle, affectionate, and cuddly Turkish Van mix fella who purrs, makes biscuits, and chats with my foster pawrents about how our day is going. I’m mostly snow white with black on my head and tail as well as a black patch on my rump above my tail. Plus I have a cute goatee and a decorative black circle on my right forearm as well as one on my left paw pad, which the Turks would say are the thumbprints of Allah.
My brothers, Thumper and Max, and I are known as the #dicey-dice-dudes because we look like white dice with black spots, and we were born to a stray momma cat in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Foster Meowmy had Momma spayed and scooped up us kittens so we’d have a chance at a better life indoors. When I first met my foster pawrents, I was a shy, quiet companion who enjoyed observing activity around me from a safe, cozy spot. Thank heavens they didn’t rush me; their time and patience was rewarded; and my delightful personality now shines through. I have to admit that Temptation and Churus treats greatly expedited my learning to trust them. Plus interactive play as they teased me with the feathered wand toy increased our mutual bonding.
Now I’m ready to be the handsome, affectionate cuddle buddy and chatty, biscuit-making purr monster of my forever family. Although I’m still shy around new people, I promise that I’m worth the wait if you’ll practice the 3-3-3 rule of cat adoption: give me 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routines, and in 3 months, I’ll have opened up to be a bona fide member of your family. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 25-0719-C100
