My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pickles is a white and brown tabby with possible special needs. She was found at Lincoln vet and was going to be euthanized due to a head tilt. She is FIV negative, has had two FVRCP vaccinations, and microchipped. She will need to be spayed when weight appropriate and after evaluation since we don't have a diagnosis for her. She walks, runs, plays, cries, and purrs like a normal cat but it very small for her age and is not fully stable on walking and running.

1/22/2026 Pickles has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations and ready to find her forever home. She is still considered special needs but does not act special needs. She is very high energy and loves food. She will steal the food out of your plate. Pickles is expected to have a normal life span despite her terrible start to life. She loves other cats and absolutely loves dogs. She snuggles my English Bulldog and gives her baths.

Meet the Pet

Adopter comes for a meet and greet or if need be we do the meet and greet at adopters home and do home check.

Additional adoption info

Many of our cats that are adoptable are coming from feral colonies, these kittens are fostered and domesticated prior to adoption. However, they may never be a truly social cat. We also pull from our local shelter.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit cat rescue, we TNR cats and ensure the colonies are managed, so new comers are properly TNRd or go into the adoption process.

We also rescue cats/kittens from the local shelter, when at risk.

Although we primarily focus on cats and TNR. We also will adopt out a dog here n there.
