My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zumi

Zumi is Sassy’s sister — same age, same adorable fluff — but with a completely different personality. Where Sassy is calm and gentle, Zumi is pure joy on four legs.

Her name comes from her signature move: the zoomies. Whether it’s a toy, a new friend, or just happiness itself, Zumi celebrates life at full speed. Her love for living is contagious and guaranteed to make you smile daily.

Zumi’s story started on the streets of Dalton, GA, but now she knows the comfort of a warm bed and a safe home — and she’s never looking back.

Zumi is:

  • Roughly one year old

  • Heartworm negative

  • Dog friendly

  • Not cat friendly

  • High-energy — likely too much for small kids

  • Fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped

She’s ready for an active home that will embrace her playful spirit and big heart.

Located in Dalton, GA
Available for adoption

Zumi isn’t just a dog — she’s a daily dose of happiness

More about this rescue

We are a kitten rescue that takes in kittens that are found, dumped at a shelter, or are born from a house cat. We get them healthy, vetted, and try to adopt them out to their furrever homes. We also do a little bit of TNR.
