~ I am so bonded with my friend Pippi Longstocking that we must go home together. ~ We can live in a single family home or condo. ~ We have not had much experience with children, but are willing to consider sharing our home with kids 12 years of age and older who can be gentle and respectful of pets. ~ We have not had much experience with cats. We may be willing to share our home with a feline pending a slow introduction. ~ We’re wonderful dogs with so much potential. We’re looking for a family with previous dog experience who understands and can patiently support shy dogs. ~ We are looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day along with double the cuddles.
Meet Penelope and Pippi Longstocking --Double the love, double the cuddles!
Penelope and Pippi Longstocking are a beautifully bonded pair of young mixed-breed gals looking for a loving home together. Both are about 1 year and 2 months old, spayed, and similar in size—Penelope is 44 lbs with a smooth black coat and a slight wiry wisp, while Pippi is 43 lbs with a tan-and-white smooth coat. Found as strays together, they later entered a foster home where they blossomed into gentle, affectionate companions. Their bond is strong, and they feel happiest and most secure by each other’s side. Penelope is the ultimate lap dog who loves hugs, cuddles, and being close to her people. She enjoys playtime—especially zoomies and chasing balls or toys—but is just as happy curling up in a hammock, your lap, or under the blankets. She dislikes the cold but happily wears cozy sweaters. Pippi (full name Pippi Longstocking) is a sweet, sensitive girl who is still learning to trust her surroundings. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her, but she warms up quickly with gentle, respectful people and shows a playful, silly side. She loves toys—especially squeaky toys, tennis balls, and sticks—gives lots of kisses, and prefers to keep her feet dry like the little princess she is. Both girls are still learning to walk on a leash and will need a family willing to continue helping them build their confidence. They are deeply affectionate with their own people and thrive in a calm, loving home
