Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Effie. I’m a 7-year-old sleek black cat with shiny fur (people say I look like a tiny shadow with whiskers) and a gentle, loving soul. I’m the kind of cat who likes to be near you — sitting in the chair beside yours, supervising your day, or stopping by for affection when I’m in the mood. I’m sweet, calm, and affectionate, and I’ll greet you with my adorable little meow when I miss you or want attention. I love rubbing against your legs for pets and soaking up love, especially booty scratches (my absolute favorite!).
I enjoy cozy naps, quiet together time, and lounging nearby while you relax, but I also have playful bursts of energy and love batting around toys. I’m friendly and curious with guests too, the more pets, the merrier! I’m FIV positive, which just means my immune system needs a little extra care and that I prefer to be an only cat or live with other friendly FIV+ kitties.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will nap beside you, greet you with sweet meows, and fill your home with cozy energy, I think we might be perfect together.
I also qualify for the Welcome Trial program, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to make sure I’m the perfect fit before making things official.
