Introducing Channing! Channing came to us from a local PD that had taken him in as a stray. Unfortunately there we no owners found, so we don`t know much of this pup`s history. He has a fairly quiet disposition. He has a hard time trusting new people - until he hear his `password`, `Good Boy!`, then it`s all kisses and tail wags! He really enjoys playing with other dogs and zooming around the play yards. He`s probably do well with another dog in the home to wear out his energy and show him the ropes! He likes to play ball and promptly lays down when you tell him to `sit`. He doesn`t appreciate the shelter life and has a hard time being in his kennel without anyone to keep him company. He can`t wait to find a family to love, entertain, and be loyal to. Channing is neutered, microchipped, heart worm tested, and vaccinated. Grand Rapids PD fell in love with him too, could you provide this goofy boy with a forever home? Call 218-675-7297!

Paws and Claws Rescue & Resort is open to the public Mon-Fri from 9am-4pm. We do require you to have an appointment set up for weekend meet and greets and adoption. Please call 218-675-7297 for more information.
If you see an available pet that you fall in love with, but you are unable to come in right away to meet them, please call us for more information about the pet. If they sound like the perfect animal to complete your family, you can place an adoption hold. This non-refundable hold of $25 will apply towards your adoption fee. If you are serious about adopting a pet, this hold will ensure that no one else will be able to come in and adopt it before you have the chance. Adoption holds are good up to 2 business days after all the necessary medical and behavior tasks have been completed for the pet. Call 218-675-7297 if you see an animal that peaks your interest!
