My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Female

Breed: German Shepherd x

Estimated Date of Birth : 12/17/2023

A girl with a heart so big she helped care for babies that weren’t even her own. Juniper is a sweet soul you’ll find hard to resist. Her big brown eyes will pull you in and her kind heart will do the rest. She definitely relies on other confident dogs to boost her confidence as she’s a little shy so we’d love to see her adopted into a home with a dog or two she can lean on when she’s feeling unsure. This girl is the face of survival and a loyal friend ready to find friends and a family of her own. She has so much love to give and would love nothing more than to meet you!

Juniper, momma dog Juliette and 5 rolly polly babies were found living out in the elements. Juniper became the ultimate best friend standing by single mama Juliette and her babies, helping care for them, even letting the puppies faux nurse off of her when they needed comfort and warmth. Two brave girls, five tiny puppies and a story of survival, loyalty, and love. The whole family was picked up by animal control and taken to our county shelter. The puppies were quickly secured by another rescue leaving Juniper and Juliette behind. We couldn’t bear the thought of Juniper and Juliette’s story ending there so we said yes to Juniper and our rescue partner said yes to Juliette. This rescue is the perfect example of how when rescues work together, more lives can be saved.

Juniper is a loyal survivor finally getting her 2nd chance. She’s quickly settled in to life at our rescue ranch and is super sweet and wants so much to please and belong. Although a little shy she’s been affectionate with everyone she’s met and is a playful girl now that’s she’s settled in. Juniper is ready to begin the next chapter of her journey, adoption, and she hopes you’ll consider her. Her story of friendship and survival deserves the happy ending she’s never had!
