My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

???? Meet Sonny & Cher — A New Year Love Story with Four Paws ????
Some love stories don’t begin at midnight with fireworks…
Some begin on the streets of Texas and lead all the way to Wisconsin — just in time to welcome five tiny miracles days before the New Year. ?
Sonny and Cher are two young Chihuahuas who have officially rung in a brand-new chapter. They’ve traded survival mode for soft blankets, warm cuddles, and the wonderful discovery that belly rubs are absolutely life-changing. Now safe in a foster home, they’re learning what it truly means to be loved — and to belong. ??
?? Cher is the social butterfly — affectionate, outgoing, and always ready for treats and snuggles.
?? Sonny is a gentle soul who takes a little time to trust, but once he does, he blossoms into a silly, sweet boy who adores his stuffed toys.
Together (or separately with the right match), they’re ready to start the New Year surrounded by love.
? A few things to know about us:
?? Crate trained
?? Pee-pad trained
?? Successful outdoor potty-goers when weather allows
?? Friendly with small dogs and cats
?? Best suited for calm homes or companions their own size
?? Due to our small size, we’d do best in a home without young children
While they would love to be adopted together, Sonny and Cher could also thrive separately — especially if there’s already a small canine friend waiting at home.
?? Adoption details:
? Sonny is neutered and available for adoption now
? Cher will be ready once her puppies are weaned and she is spayed
? Both will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention
And yes — their adorable puppies will be available in the coming months, so be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page to see when applications open for them! ????
Sonny and Cher didn’t just survive — they found each other long before they ever knew what “home” truly meant. Now, their New Year wish is simple: a loving place to land. ??
?? Ready to meet us?
Head to our website and fill out an adoption form:
Once your form is submitted, a member of our Canine Team will give you a call to set up a meet-and-greet.
?? Already have an application on file?
Call 715-634-5394, Monday–Saturday from 11am–3pm, to schedule your appointment.
? Let’s start the New Year together — with wagging tails, puppy kisses, and a lifetime of love. ??????
