Jefe is a handsome, easygoing pup who loves to take life at his own pace. He’s friendly but independent—happy to say hello and soak up some affection, then wander off to explore and sniff out all the interesting scents around him. During his evaluation, Jefe showed a loose, relaxed body and a calm demeanor. He accepted petting and handling without hesitation and even approached for attention when he wanted a little love. He’s polite, gentle, and has no issues with food handling—though, like all dogs, he appreciates a little space during mealtime. Jefe isn’t much of a toy guy, but he’s curious and loves investigating his surroundings. He’s previously lived with other dogs and may do well with a canine companion, but slow introductions in a neutral space are recommended. If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate dog who enjoys exploring and relaxing by your side, Jefe could be the perfect match. Ready to give Jefe the calm, loving home he deserves?
