Dianna is a four-year old, 15 pound Female Pug mix- she’s got long legs and a different tail. She’s very sweet, very gentle and good with everyone. Her rescuer tells us daily what a good girl Dianna is- she has a very good disposition! We'll have more info once she arrives!
Dianna arrives in Colorado Sunday 1/25/2026 and needs an adopter or foster to welcome her in.
Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.
Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio.

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet
Approve Application
If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application
Take the Pet Home
After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home
