My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Merf is a 9-year-old neutered gentleman with a permanently grumpy-looking face—and a heart of absolute gold. Don’t let his serious expression fool you: this sweet boy lives for affection. He loves being petted, melts under a good head scratch, and happily soaks up all the attention you’re willing to give. Merf is the kind of cat who may look like he’s judging you, but is actually just quietly enjoying your company. He’s calm, loving, and ready to be someone’s loyal couch companion. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate cat with a tough-guy exterior and a total sweetheart personality, Merf is your guy.

Cats are same day adoptions as they do not require an application process. If you'd like to meet our cats, call the shelter and we can get you scheduled in. Or come in during our kennel hours which are Mon-Fri 12pm-4pm. Or we are open Saturdays 9am-1pm. If you have any questions give us a call at 937-498-7201.
