Found him on the street early September 2025 and the people in the house nearby didnt know who he belongs to so I assumed that hes a stray and picked him up. Hes always been skittish and doesnt let us touch him, he would allow the tiniest of touches but then he would run away. Hes around 7 months old (as of January 2026). He is very playful and one of the cats taught him to talk to himself. He is using the litter box of course.
Lately hes been getting on the kitchen counters and in my roommates plants and I cant get him to stop.
We have other cats that we taught to behave, and with him being skittish and scared or us I cant teach him without getting him even more scared. We keep returning to a messy kitchen and we cant have this all the time with work and school.
Looking for someone who has time to get him out of his skittish behavior.
Also we would have to move by July 2026 (across state lines) and with him being scared we cant have him in the car like that.
