Furling is a Siberian cat (as far as we can tell), who is also a runt. She is almost 2 1/2 yrs old and is only 7.5 lbs full-grown and she is also deaf. She seems to respond to high pitch noises, but any other sounds/voices, she is quite deaf. She is very sweet, loves to play, and to sleep on laps at times. Unfortunately, we need to rehome her pretty quickly, as we are currently searching for a new place to live. We have had Furling for 2 years, originally adopting from Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter. And although we are emotionally crushed having to rehome her, we know it’s for the best. Full disclosure, she had some UTIs in the past. We’ve had her under the Banfield Wellness plan for medical, and after the past one several months ago, we’ve fed her “Science Diet Urinary Care c/d Multicare Stress” with positive results and she hasn’t had any more issues.
